What you can look forward to as Production Superintendent

• Ensure a safe work environment is provided and employees are complying with all EHS policies and procedures. 
• Ensure compliance to ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and IATF 16949.
• Plan resources necessary for optimal operating efficiency to ensure safety, quality, cost, and delivery goals are met. 
• Train and develop supervisors with providing effective leadership to the team.
• Lead the engineering team to ensure equipment is upgraded and modified to maximize operational capacity, as well as work area documents are up to date.
• Promote continuous improvement and Lean activities and lead the implementation of actions.
• Support new launches within the manufacturing facility. 
• Communicate effectively with customers (internal and external), cross functional teams, and members at all levels of the organization.

Your profile as Production Superintendent

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience. 
• 8-10 years related experience in manufacturing environment. 
• Advanced knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing/operations.
• Dynamic, driven, and energetic team player who works well under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and task management skills.
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office.
• Experience within manufacturing, automotive industry preferred.
• Project Management experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/ Lean principles (preferred).
• Ensure area leadership supports ISO 14001 (Environmental Certification) and ISO 45001 (Safety and Health Certification) initiatives.
• Ensure assigned area conforms to IATF 16949 quality management standards and participate in audits.
