The Sales Footprint Business Analyst plays a pivotal role within ZF's aftermarket division Sales Transformation team. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and maintain a data-driven ecosystem that supports the optimization of the worldwide sales organization within its markets. By leveraging analytical insights, the Sales Footprint Business Analyst will drive strategic decision-making processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations, while ensuring a unified and customer-centric approach across all touchpoints.
Accountabilities:
- Data Analysis and Insight Generation: Utilize advanced analytical techniques to extract insights from sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to inform decision-making processes.
- Sales Footprint Optimization: Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess current sales organization structures and market presence, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Strategy Development: Contribute to the development of sales strategies based on data-driven insights, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness of sales footprint initiatives, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to integrate sales footprint optimization initiatives into broader organizational strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and optimization within the sales organization, driving continuous enhancement of sales effectiveness and efficiency.
- Knowledge Management: Document best practices, lessons learned, and key insights to build institutional knowledge and support future decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities for sales footprint optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop analytical models and tools to support sales footprint optimization initiatives.
- Provide analytical support for strategic decision-making processes, including market entry and exit strategies, territory realignment, and channel optimization.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to monitor the effectiveness of sales footprint optimization initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in sales analytics and footprint optimization, continuously enhancing knowledge and skills in relevant areas.
Profile:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in business analysis, data analytics, or related field, preferably within the automotive or aftermarket industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
