Objective:

ZF’s Aftermarket Digital Services enable aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically improve the efficiency, the sustainability and the safety of their operations, while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a mix of connectivity units installed in the vehicles, communicating with a modern cloud-based IoT, data management and end-user software platform.

As Service Line Leader (m/f/d) for ZF’s Aftermarket Workshop Digitalization Services you will be responsible for the definition and execution of a business strategy enabling the rapid and profitable growth of the service line, through the construction and the exploitation of new product/solutions/service expansion, go-to-market strategy and positive differentiation towards existing and new workshop customers.

 

What you can look forward to as Head of Workshop Digitalization (m(f/d):

  • Own the end-to-end business models for the workshop digitalization segment and trigger relevant differentiated initiative specific to being successful into this segment
  • Drive profitable growth for the service line globally, including penetration expansion within regional markets
  • Identify service Line portfolio expansion opportunities, resulting from collaboration with OE technologies but also through organic and inorganic range extension, including driving a fit-to-ZF M&A roadmap & implementing internal start-up-like ventures
  • Build effective Go-To-Market and marketing strategies across ensuring positive differentiation towards competition
  • Anticipate market/industry evolution and define strategic product roadmaps supporting global growth
  • Lead the product implementations, aligning on budget & resource needs with necessary functions or regions. Own the full cost & profitability of the service line solutions
  • Build a globally accountable, collaborative, diverse, entrepreneurial and passionate team to help you endorsing the above responsibilities

 

Your Profile as Head of Workshop Digitalization (m(f/d):

  • Entrepreneurial business leader with several years of experience in automotive industry, ideally across OE and AM businesses
  • Several years of experience building digital or software business and/or innovation management for automotive customers
  • Passionate about technology, with an understanding of (future) vehicle E/E architectures, data analysis and cloud hosting technologies
  • Ability to go deep with engineering when required but understand that your real value is your business acumen, strategic thinking, and precisely-informed perspectives; you never lose sight of what your customers need, when they need it, and why
  • Strong global networking skills with ability to build up trust relations with stakeholders and internal knowledge owners across OE and AM businesses
  • English, oral and written. German would be a plus
