We are looking for a new colleague in our Aftermarket Division. This position can be filled at any location in Europe.


What you can look forward to as Head of Global Marketing & Communications (m/f/d):

  • Lead the Global Marketing & Communications organization as well as Marketing Communication communities across the Aftermarket Division with the ambition to support the strategic business goals, advance customer obsession and loyalty
  • Develop, deploy, monitor and refine global Marketing & Communications strategy and initiate initiatives that support the strategic goals of ZF Aftermarket
  • Drive strategic development, raise awareness, familiarity and improve significance and distinctiveness of Aftermarket product brands, service brands and digital brands across all tiers. Furthermore, initiate and drive advanced and automated marketing campaigns in different media channels
  • Ensure deployment of consistent market messaging and effective product content marketing across all target groups and regions in order to enforce push effects and to trigger customer pull for all categories
  • Initiate, drive field and promote marketing programs globally in the Marketing & Communication communities of the Aftermarket Division. Ensure creative visualization and realization of Marketing campaigns across all assets and touchpoints. Also, manage all global fairs and events of the Division Aftermarket as well as external and internal communication comm, in conjunction with Corporate Communications
  • Build, coach, grow, retain and inspire an agile, diverse and high-performing Global Marketing & Communication team. Lead the team by operating with a growth and team-first mindset, with clearly defined roles, career paths, succession plans, and employee success strategies
  • Accountable for global Marketing budget planning based as well as monitoring of results, outcome and Marketing ROI  - based on advanced marketing analytics and tools
  • Create and maintain a metrics-driven framework to optimize spend allocation across our markets, informed by competitor activities, revenue opportunities, product fit, and marketing ROI.
  • Deliver marketing efficiency across all dimensions of ZF Aftermarket and brands, measured in brand health and financial & business metrics
  • Collaborate with the different business lines, sales enablement and analytics teams to identify opportunities and translate them into respective marketing and communications measures and plans


Your Profile as Head of Global Marketing & Communications (m/f/d):

  • University degree with the focus on Marketing, ideally MBA, similar degree or extensive experience in similar roles
  • Several years of experience and proven thought leadership as well as creative cases in Marketing & Communications for both B2B and B2C audiences, including management of B2B events and B2B Marketing campaigns
  • Customer-centric attitude based on outside-in perspective. Ideally deep knowledge of Automotive Aftermarket and different customer groups (distributors, workshops, fleets, end consumers)
  • Proven Marketing leadership experience in B2B-focused, multidimensional, global matrix organizations – ideally covering North America, Europe and Asia Pacific
  • Highly analytical combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and an ability to build data-informed business and marketing strategies with clear sense of purpose, execution, and delivery
  • Experience in setting up team structures and processes to create maximum impact, communication clarity, and impact
  • The ability to set clear and challenging goals while committing the organization to improved performance; accountable, tenacious, and relentless about driving results
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly, lead others, and create solutions through complex situations
