Channel Enablement and Business Development Leader (m/f/d)

We are looking for a new colleague in our Business Line Digital Solutions for our site in Brussels.
ZF’s Aftermarket Digital Services enable aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically improve the efficiency, the sustainability and the safety of their operations, while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a mix of connectivity units installed in the vehicles, communicating with a modern cloud-based IoT, data management and end-user software platform.
As Channel Enablement and Business Development Leader you will be responsible to develop and own the direct and indirect sales interfaces for new aftermarket digital solutions. You will identify, nurture and secure scalable business opportunities with a variety of aftermarket customers (existing and new) and/or ecosystem partners.
Your tasks:
- Develop, nurture and manage the funnel of business development opportunities with new customer segments or new business partners, in order to achieve or exceed strategic goals and targets for the ZF’s Aftermarket Digital Services business
- Radically accelerate the scaling of the business by maximizing the opportunity of existing relevant sales channels within ZF, and by identifying & exploring new direct and indirect sales channels (product-market combinations)
- Stay ahead of trends in the market and build out a strong global network with potential clients, ecosystem partners, key decision-makers and relevant industry associations
- Work closely with marketing and the development teams ensuring close feedback from customers and ecosystem partners and planning of new marketing initiatives
- Hire, mentor and scale a brilliant business development and sales enablement team
Your profile:
- 8+ years of experience in business development in customer-facing digital innovation or equivalent consultative-selling role. Automotive experience is a plus (insurance telematics, new mobility, fleet management services….)
- Demonstrated experience in leading new business capture activities as well as opening new direct or indirect sales channels in complex B2B customer landscapes. Strong global networking skills with ability to build up trust relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
- Proven experience building and managing a high performing business development or sales team
- The ability to travel internationally up to 50% to meet business needs
