Customer and Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Team:

We are looking for a Customer and Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team at the Bouzonville site.

ZF is a global player in automotive technology, recognized for its innovative mobility solutions. You will join a team committed to performance and continuous improvement, where collaboration and expertise are highly valued.

As part of our Quality Department, you will join a team of around 20 quality professionals supporting our Chassis Components and Foundation Brakes product lines. Working closely with production, maintenance, R&D, methods engineering, and global functions, you will play a key role in ensuring supplier quality performance and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. The team brings together expertise in supplier and customer quality, warranty management, system audits, and operational quality, offering a collaborative environment with strong development opportunities. In this role, your primary focus will be on managing and developing supplier quality performance, while providing support for customer quality activities when needed.

What you can look forward to as Customer and Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d):

• Ensure customer satisfaction by leading all customer-related quality topics
• Manage customer claims from end to end (analysis, containment, 8D/problem-solving, follow-up, and on-time closure)
• Implement and promote continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality performance and prevent recurrence
• Ensure the successful execution of all quality-related aspects of projects within your area of responsibility
• Supervise problem-solving activities, customer complaints, and warranty return management
• Ensure supplier quality performance and drive the continuous improvement of supplier quality standards and processes
• Apply continuous improvement principles and methodologies to support sustainable quality excellence across the organization

Your profile as Customer and Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f/d):

• Education: Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position
• Technical skills: Problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa), audit techniques, and automotive quality standards like IATF 16494 or VDA 6.3
• Tools: Microsoft 365
• Languages: Advanced English & French. German is a plus
