Job Description

What you can look forward to as Senior Product Engineer:

• Lead the development process of sealings in Steering Systems, from drafting to implementation, according to ZF processes, including creating and updating BoM.
• Analyze validation test results, provide recommendations, and create testing procedures and specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Development teams and other departments such as Testing, Prototypes, and CAE, including ordering verification tasks at CAE and T&V.
• Actively participate in DFMEA, requirements analysis, and support VA/VE activities, feeding DFMEA with results.
• Provide project technical support during the RFQ phase (NRE, BoM) and delegate tasks to offshore teams.
• Set up new standards and requirements, create sketches for 2D and 3D documentation, and develop innovative solutions.
• Utilize and create "lessons learned," transferring knowledge to new projects, and use proper problem-solving tools.
• Benchmark competitor solutions to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.

Your Profile as Senior Product Engineer:

• Min 5 years of experience in product/process development in area of sealings technologies;
• Sealings market trends and technologies knowledge;
• ISO GPS dimensioning and tolerancing practical experience;
• DFMEA, DVP&R, problem solving (DOE, 8D, 5W etc.) practical knowledge;
• English language communicative written and spoken;
• Knowledge of MS Office.
