What you can look forward to as Product Development Engineer:

• Driving key technology, design, supplier, tool and process synergies across Product Lines (front/rear steering, braking, chassis);
• Collaborating closely with suppliers through regular meetings and technical discussions to evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for product enhancement and innovation;
• Developing common knowledge databases (lesson learned, supplier database, etc.);
• Working in cross-functional teams or activities to ensure alignment and integration of product development strategies;
• Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities for innovation;
• Filing Tool process User support & managing interface to service provider as well as maintaining process documentation

Your Profile as Product Development Engineer:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent engineering qualification, with a focus on electrical and electronic engineering or mechatronic systems;
• Professional Experience: Proven experience in engineering (preferably in automotive industry), particularly in E/E (electrical/electronic) design and manufacturing technologies;
• English Proficiency: Fluent English, both spoken and written, is essential for communication in an international environment;
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a willingness to expand knowledge in this area.
• Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems;
• Experience with automotive sensor technologies and familiarity with electronics design and transmission protocols (e.g., SAE J2716);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g., 8D, 5Why methodologies);
• Experience in requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS);
• Good project management and communication skills.
