Prototype Coordinator

About the Team

As a Prototype Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordination and management of project specific prototypes deliverables for Electric Powered Steering (EPS) systems.
This role requires a hands-on approach and strong collaboration with design, development, suppliers and production teams to create functional models that meet design and quality standards on time.

What you can look forward to as Prototype Coordinator (m/f/d):

• Developing an agreed timing plan for design, prototype order, assembly, functional measurements, vehicle integration, release of parts and shipping;
• Ensuring regular communication between all involved stakeholder (Internal & Customer);
• Assuring that components and assemblies are verified against Prototype Control Plan;
• Monitoring the results in the Prototype Control Reports;
• Maintaining an overview of quantities and timing combined for all sample requirements;
• Maintaining delivery performance plan vs. actual prototype availability / delivery MOPs);
• Maintaining cost control for prototypes incl. tools and fixtures.

Your Profile as Prototype Coordinator (m/f/d):

• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree (e.g. Mechatronics, Electronics or similar), last year students also welcome;
• Good communication skills, open-minded and hands-on attitude; 
• Language skills: very good English (oral and written), German would be beneficial; 
• Experience in a similar position would be an advantage.
