Job Description
Engineering Center in Bielsko-Biała as an independent unit focuses on designing mechatronic systems, prototype production and testing as well as acoustic and mechanical validation and software development for the ZF Chassis Solution Division. We currently employ about 300 people.
Your tasks:
• Development of Steering Features for internal and external customer projects, related to classical steering and future Steer-by-Wire products, from concept phase to series code,
• Create proof of concepts in documentation, simulation, and Software prototypes for new functions and requested changes, experienceable on test bench,
• Deliver verified functions, implemented in Software using Model Based System/Software Engineering methodologies applying automated code generation,
• Contribute to definition of System and Software Level Requirements and Architecture, working in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams, coaching, and supporting team members,
• Leading technical alignments with external customers on concepts, requirements, and designs, and align internally with interfacing engineering disciplines.
Your profile:
• Engineer´s degree or PhD with background in mechatronics, software, electronics, physics, controls, or a similar field of study,
• Minimum three years working experience in automotive engineering, working experience in steering or related engineering fields is preferred,
• Strong experience in model-based development of functions using MATLAB/Simulink and dSPACE Targetlink, according to ASPICE and ISO26262,
• Skills in Software development regarding AUTOSAR, SW Architecture, Integration and Build enabling independent accomplishment of SW Prototyping are highly beneficial,
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, fluency in English (German is beneficial), willingness for travelling along with cross-cultural competence.
