Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

About the Team:

As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in industrializing new steering products and supporting manufacturing plants across the region to ensure flawless product launches, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

What you can look forward to as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer:

• Lead and support industrialization activities for steering assembly processes across regional manufacturing locations.
• Drive harmonization and standardization of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Support plants during new product launches, prototype builds, line layouts, and production ramp-up.
• Develop manufacturing specifications, equipment requirements, and tooling concepts for new projects.
• Collaborate on supplier selection activities with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing teams.
• Drive manufacturing readiness by overseeing machine build execution, leading supplier and plant qualification activities, supporting GDPEP project gates.
• Create and maintain Application PFMEAs based on global standards.
• Support performance improvement initiatives related to quality, productivity, and manufacturing KPIs.

Your profile as Advanced Manufacturing Engineer:

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Process Engineering
• Proven experience with new product industrialization and manufacturing launches
• Experience in capital investment projects and equipment procurement
• Experience in machine qualification and acceptance activities
• Steering Business knowledge/Automotive
• Experience working in a cross-functional corporate environment
• Project management skills
• Strong manufacturing background (Lean/Continuous Improvement, PFMEA, MSA, TPM, Core Tools, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Fluent English written and spoken
