Quality Planner (m/f/d)

About the Team

The Quality team supports new product launches and engineering changes, ensuring that project quality targets and customer requirements are met. Working closely with Engineering, Production Quality, plants, suppliers and customers, the team drives quality planning throughout the project lifecycle. The focus is on flawless launch, risk management, compliance with quality standards and continuous improvement.

What you can look forward to as Quality Planner (m/f/d):

• Lead Quality Planning activities for new product launches and product/process changes, ensuring Safe Launch, Quality KPIs and customer satisfaction targets.
• Manage APQP/GDPEP quality deliverables and represent Quality in project teams, project reviews, gate reviews and pre-launch builds.
• Lead APQP and PPAP activities to achieve customer approval and ensure quality deliverables are completed on time.
• Drive launch readiness activities, including Run@Rate, line walks, Safe Launch planning and launch readiness tracking.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer requirements and internal quality standards.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project quality risks and act as a customer contact for quality issues during the launch phase.
• Support plants, Engineering teams, intercompany suppliers and customers in industrializing project scopes and achieving quality targets, including preparation for customer audits.
• Drive lessons learned, knowledge transfer and continuous improvement across programs, projects and business units.

Your profile as Quality Planner (m/f/d):

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in technical fields.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Quality, including at least 3 years in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality planning, quality assurance, quality management systems, tools and methods.
• Deep understanding of product and manufacturing processes, GDPEP and project management within the Business Unit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a good understanding of quality impact on KPIs and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills in an international and intercultural environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
