Within the ZF Aftermarket Division, the Business Line Digital Solutions enables aftermarket customers across application segments (cargo transport, people transport, industrial applications) to radically increase the efficiency, sustainability, and safety of their operations while meeting the regulatory and visibility standards of their markets. The solutions are based on a mix of connectivity units installed in the vehicles, communicating with a modern cloud-based IoT, data management, and end-user software platform. The world is moving faster than ever, and this is an exciting time to join the Team in our Business Line Digital Solutions as Strategic Senior HR Business Partner.
This position can be filled at any location in Europe - preferably Dublin or Barcelona!

 

About this role:
In this role you will be part of the HR Leadership Team of ZF Aftermarket and the Business Line Digital Solutions and act as strategic partner to the business. By collaborating with your business leaders and our divisional and central HR teams, you shape the future of our high-performing BL workforce, organization, and culture. As the connector and change facilitator between CoEs and SSCs, you help to drive business success through effective, data informed, state-of-the-art people initiatives around talent attraction, talent management, development, and performance.

Long Description

RESPONSIBILITIES 
•    Build a deep understanding of the business model and strategic goals and work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, ensuring that workforce initiatives directly support business priorities and financial targets (incl. Total cost to company and cost effectiveness contributions etc.)
•    Partner with our Global Talent Acquisition Teams and external providers to enable your leaders to identify and attract the best talents for the BL. 
•    Develop and execute strategies and initiatives for talent attraction, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent retention.
•    Identify training and development needs and work with our CoEs to implement the right programs.
•    Create and roll out career paths for the workforce which are in line with our internal job architecture and philosophy. Nurture a growth mindset, continuous learning, and performance culture. Help the CoE to roll out, manage and facilitate the PPS process.
•    Own the eNPS, collaborate with CoE to conduct employee engagement surveys and assessments to gauge employee satisfaction and engagement and help the LT to derive effective and impactful measures to positively drive employee engagement. 
•    Develop and implement strategies to foster an inclusive and diverse workplace & culture. Collaborate with CoEs around DEIB to develop programs and policies that support an DEIB culture.
•    Ensure together with BL Leadership Team that values and leadership principles, as the foundation of our culture, are understood, adhered to and lived up to within all teams across the BL.
•    Support organizational change initiatives by providing resources, comprehensive communication plan and guidance. 
•    Act as change agent on day2day basis and work with leaders on the continuous improvement of the organizational design of the BL, to manage hypergrowth, scale up /down and to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
•    Challenge the status quo of existing processes and structures to ensure continuous improvement.
•    Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR-related issues. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee-related matters.
•    Analyze HR data to identify trends and inform decision-making. Utilize metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR plans and initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
•    Work with Global Domain Functions, Centers of Excellence and Shared Services Centers to streamline HR processes and improve service delivery but also identify where standard processes and procedures cannot support the business needs and help co-create solutions to cover the identified gaps to ensure optimal business support.
•    Be the evangelist of state-of-art HR methods and best practices and share/ increase knowledge sharing to elevate ZF HR Global Domain Functions.
•    Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks. Address any employee relations issues promptly and effectively.
 

Job Description

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS 
•    University degree in Business Administration, HR, Economics, Psychology or related field (preferably master’s degree)
•    10+ years proven experience in Senior HRBP roles (e.g. Lead HRBP, Principal HRBP, Head of HRBP), partnering with Senior Management / C-Suite Level leaders – ideally in startups/ scale ups in SaaS/ Tech Industry combined with experience in international multi-dimensional corporations, ideally in the automotive industry
•    Proven track record in building and scaling Engineering & Product Teams as well as IT, SaaS Sales & Marketing Teams 
•    Very strong experience in strategy creation and execution in the areas talent acquisition, DEIB, workforce planning, levelling & career frameworks as well as planning and executing state-of-the-art people strategies and initiatives
•    Entrepreneurial, analytical & growth mindset with excellent skills to lead by influence, empowerment, coaching, role modeling and human leadership
•    Ability to manage ambiguity by bringing clarity through excellent stakeholder tailored communication, clear vision and goal setting which is easy to understand
•    Ability to challenge the status quo & to question our paradigms
•    Very strong business acumen combined with understanding of financial and sales metrics and desire to deeply understand the various business models
•    Strong interpersonal skills with experience working across teams to achieve common goals
•    Versed in optimizing processes to business needs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
•    Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions with a "can do" attitude
•    Comfortable working with data to track performance and make data-driven decisions
•    Very good change management skills to assess impact of changes, change strategies, and to effectively communicate and implement changes
•    Fluent in English, additional language skills (e.g. French, German) is a plus
•    Willingness to travel globally
