ZF Active Safety US Inc. has a job opening for the position of Sr. Vice President, Corporate Program Management based out of its location in Auburn Hills, MI.

Job Duties: Responsible for implementing strong and sustainable governance for project management structures and processes across divisions and product lines. Optimize global PM standards (GDPEP) through integrated and aligned cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Launch & Operations, Supply Management, Quality, Sales, and Controlling. Provide frameworks and guidance for operational program management, establish KPIs to evaluate commercial and technical success, and deliver regular updates to the Board of Management. Drive risk management through early detection and accountability, enhance efficiency in managing critical programs, and lead the program management executive group to foster excellence. Promote continuous improvement by applying best practices and lessons learned across all programs. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available. Up to 30% travel to domestic and international locations to attend meetings at company and client sites.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or closely related field, plus 5 years of experience in a senior management or director level role within a Tier 1 automotive environment and demonstrated experience with: Managing start of production programs and customer escalations on full vehicle & component level with fit, form, function, quality, content, cost, and timing technical expertise; OEM processes to prepare solutions on eye-level with the OEM, including implications on test fleet built-up to avoid/reduce task force costs; Leading cross-functional teams and drive key KPIs for Product Launch Readiness and Product Lifecycle Management in a matrix organization to achieve project management excellence; Overseeing project management operations and implementing organization-wide portfolio governance systems; Establishing cross-functional governance frameworks to support best practice sharing and strategic alignment; Collaborating and reporting to senior executives or board level members; Quality systems including ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, FMEA, and root cause analysis; Controlling and finance basics including CAPEX/OPEX tracking, ROI, and business case evaluation; PMP for global project management standards; Quality systems including ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, FMEA, and root cause analysis; Controlling and finance standards, including CAPEX/OPEX tracking, ROI, and business case evaluation and PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
