ZF CV Systems North America LLC has a job opening for the position of Project Manager Transmission Systems based out of its location in Auburn Hills, MI.

Job Duties:  This is a project management position responsible to oversee customer programs/projects using ZF project management methods (inclu. GDPEP); Prioritize, coordinate, and direct the project tasks to be executed by cross-functional teams; Develop, implement & maintain program structure; Prepare & facilitate review meetings, including team preparation and presentation of risk assessments and summary documents; Manage launch projects; Manage tasks to ensure successful launch of projects and product variants with respective customer(s); Accountable to ensure reaching of Cost, Quality, Timing, Spec-Targets in shared responsibility with functional leads; Define structure, roles and responsibilities of interdisciplinary members of program team; Act as primary liaison to ensure alignment & coordination of activities across Product Lines; Establish & maintain relationship with customer(s), to include managing difficult situations with customer or internal departments as they arise; and Ensure project management and advanced quality activities lead to customer satisfaction. A hybrid (in-office and telecommute) work schedule is available.

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or related field plus 4 years of experience in the automotive industry in project management, engineering, or related occupations, and demonstrated experience with Project management (including project review meetings, project planning, and risk assessment); The North American commercial vehicle market; Drivetrain technologies; Analyzing market trends; Electric Mobility technology; Business implementation, production-, plant- and customer- product launches; Engineering systems; Change management; Product development; Project finance; Business strategy; and Financial reporting statements.
