Assistant Product Development Engineer

We are currently expanding our teams in Malaysia and looking for new colleagues who will join our team at our location Senai.

Your tasks:

• Measurement Room & Test Laboratory Management (10%)
• To maintain the house keeping of the measurement room & lab all the time.
• To maintain the rigs and equipment in the measurement room & lab ensuring that they are within the calibration period and condition.
• Testing and Product Measurement (60%)
• To carry out measurement & validation test as per documented procedure and update results in designated test report.
• Notify product development engineer on any outstanding issues in getting the task completed.
• Issued test report for performance test to the related parties.
• Product measurement using tools and equipment e.g FARO, caliper, gauges…
• Test Machine Management/Improvement (20%)
• Ensure measurement & test machine always in a good condition, participate machines external calibration and perform internal calibration. 
• Participate during the test machine trouble shooting and repairing.
• Others Activities (10%)
• Others related tasks given by the superior.
• Actively involved in CIS.
• Provide continues support to ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 14001 : 2015 and TS16949

Your profile：

• Minimum Diploma in engineering preferably in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 3 years in measurement & testing environmental field. Testing software awareness & experience in automotive steering & suspension industry.
• Test machine and software application knowledge.
• Strong analytical and result-oriented
• Problem-solving skills and decision-making skills
• Good communication skills and inter-personal skills
