About the Team

We are expanding our Program & Project Management team across Sakarya and looking for VAVE Project Buyer (fixed-term contract) to join us in Sakarya with Commercial Vehicle Solutions.

What you can look forward to as VAVE Project Buyer:

• Identify cost reduction opportunities, assess sourcing needs with project leader (determine in detail relevant sourcing needs, material requirements, adequate technologies and allocate in detail target costs and expected quality).
• Perform total cost analysis, preparing basis for decision during the project execution phase.
• Lead Design to Cost activities to achieve target costs (benchmarking, organizing internal and external workshops).
• Contribute with cost reduction ideas to maintain a healthy savings-pipeline.
• Prepare, maintain, and report a consolidated view of projects & savings from the Sourcing & Purchasing perspective.
• Following Component Quality Planning (APQP) process.
• Support the Change Management with ECR-creation, samples, PPAP and ensure target prices are met at SOP.

Your profile as VAVE Project Buyer:

• Degree in Engineering or Economic background.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing and purchasing, commodity or logistics  (preferably within automotive).
• Good technical knowledge would be an asset.
• Fluent in English, German nice to have.
• Analytical thinking and result orientation.
• Good communication skills and assertiveness.
• Willingness to travel.
