Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer for our Sakarya location

Job Description:

• Responsible to maintain compliance on Supplier Quality activities for all sourced suppliers as defined by QD83. All responsibilities applicable for Internal and External Suppliers.
• Manage sorting activities related to Supplier quality rejects. Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely response to Return Material Authorization.
• Lead Problem Solving activities with Suppliers to ensure an effective Corrective and Permanent Action is deployed for non-conformances.
• Lead Supplier Non-Conformity Cost (SNCC) Recovery. Work with Plant Finance to ensure debits are processed in timely manner.
• Work with Cross-functional teams to review and assess Supplier Deviations and Change Requests to provide feedback to Suppliers.Responsible to Support/ Lead Escalation Level-1 activities with quality distressed Suppliers.

 
Qualification: 

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required and Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in production or industrial engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) concepts and applications required.
• Strong background in Statistical Quality Control methods and continuous improvement required.
• Strong knowledge of Problem Solving tools like Trial and Error, Ishikawa Diagram, 5-Why, Is-Is not. Knowledgeable on 8D Structured Reporting Tool and 6 Sigma approach and methodology. 
• Prior experience with several commodities including:  Sheet metal pressing, forgings, machining and stamping
