Position Summary
The Account Manager will be the main interface with customer operational levels at engineering, quality, logistics and purchasing. 

 

Responsibilities
• Regular presence at the customer premises, gathering market and projects information and supporting customer demands
• Drives customer satisfaction
• Manage escalation for assigned products, providing relevant inputs to the Key Account Leader and product lines
• Ensure project execution with involved areas
• Support OP and forecast plans
• Manage internal data consistency – pricing, business cases inputs and all relevant information
• Ensure timing plans are executed accordingly – from prototypes to SOP
• Drive change management for assigned products
• Create and maintain customer white spots map/addressable market
• Feed the team with relevant customer information from customer and competition moves
• Able to work in a matrix collaboration with global key account team and product lines
• Ensure KPIs are under control (A/R past dues, logistics, quality, service, annual sales)

 

Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in engineering, sales, or product management
• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
• Ability to act as a technical and commercial presence in front of the customer
• Account experience 
• Solid understanding of products and its value proposition
• Engineering and commercial background
• Business acumen and interpersonal savvy
• Experience to drive new project developments within a matrix team
• Able to work in a cross-matrix environment with complex topics
• Experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry strongly preferred
• Expert PC skills and use of Microsoft Office Suite
• Travel is required based on business needs (25-30%)
