We are looking for a new colleague to strengthen our Purchasing Team in Ponte de Lima, Portugal (Temporary)

Main accountabilities, responsabilities and deliverables:

• Support for core projects/innovations
• Supplier pre-selection in co-operation with Commodity, selection of prototype suppliers, know-how transfer
• Support acquisition/ CQA in direct cooperation with Sales, Engineering, Calculation / Finance
• Project kick-off - interface function to the global commodity
• Contact person for the project team for all relevant purchasing issues
• Risk assessment with Engineering and SDE
• Initiation of the RFQ process
• Coordination of the sourcing process and supplier nomination
• Initiation of tool and series orders
• Project coordination, launch management of series suppliers
• Change management up to 6 months after the start of series production
• Interface to the production plants for all purchasing issues
• Participation in the GDPEP Gate Reviews
• Escalation management in connection with series launch

Required skills and experience / main competences:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• 3 years of experience in similar fuction
• English  and Portuguese fluent (spoken and written) / if possible basic German
• MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• SAP Knowledge
