Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division, this position will be located at El Salvador which is a new plant for the Division.

Position Summary

Support the ZF El Salvador Plant in relation to environmental health, safety and ensure that all practice in operations complies with the requirements and regulations of the company, in turn coordinates regulatory programs and their applicable permits and supports with the coordination and development of training programs.    

Responsibilities

• Overall, provides EHS leadership, governance and service
• Development and maintenance of ZF EHS Management System
• Setting up annual as well as longer term EHS Objectives & Targets including relevant communication/clarification to ZF plants
• Development and maintenance of key programs such as BBS, Safety Leadership, Energy Efficiency, Ergonomics, Machine Safety, etc.
• Development and maintenance of EHS data collection, management and reporting applications (SoFI, AIC, BBS, MS Self-Assessment (MSSA), Ergonomics, TERRA, Power BI application/monthly report for safety performance) including provision of training
• Management and support of EHS ISO (ISO 14001, 45001, 50001) certification for matrix sites
• Completion of ZF Group Level EHS Management Review and reporting to Board Member responsible for EHS and Sustainability
• Management of environmental remediation program

Required Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Environmental and /or Safety Engineering and Management or closely related field, Results/Process/Problem Solving - Oriented
• Min. 10  years experience in manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety/environmental management
• Thorough working knowledge and understanding of EHS compliance regulations
• Thorough knowledge in relation to developing processes and practices related to key EHS program areas
• Experience in implementing and managing EHS Management System requirements including ISO EHS Standard Requirements
