¡Come and join to the Passive Safety Systems Division as APQP, PPAP, Launch Engineer at Chihuahua SWS Plant!
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the generation of internal PPAPs as part of the end product PPAP folders.
- Review PPAPs for completeness and compliance with specific customer requirements.
- Lead the generation of G54 Check List in order to ensure completeness of manufacturing lines for start-up.
- Analyze information derived from product and process validation and generate improvement plans if required.
- Release new equipment for production lines according to documented procedures / processes.
- Leads the generation of process/engineering changes from a Quality point of view in order to implement changes in a safe and transparent way for the Customer (Ford SREAs).
- Ensures together with the team the correct follow-up to BPW.
- Identifies and performs all necessary activities to launch programs on time and meet customer expectations.
- Meet the quality objectives of the organization.
- Maintain constant communication with Customers and in case of visits leads them.
- Follows up the quality systems under his/her responsibility to avoid non-conformities in IATF 16949/VDA 6.3.
- Develops, maintains and improves the procedures and instructions of his/her area.
- Participate in all SET meetings with 26Mile people as a representative of the quality area.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Engineering preferably
- +3 years in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of IATF 16949/ ISO14001/ ISO45001/ ISO9001
- Desirable statistical tools (SPC)
- Knowledge in the elaboration of advanced quality planning documentation.
